Teenagers and adults
Memorise around school, university or work, at the same time each week.
Children
Children who read fluently can start Hifz too. A parent can sit in on any class.
Fluent readers
You should be able to read the Quran fluently from the Mushaf. If not, start with Nazra first.
How a class works
How a Hifz class works
Every class follows the same simple order.
Revision first
We start by revising the recent lessons, so they stay strong.
Recite the new lines
You recite your new lines. Every mistake is corrected at once, and the lines are repeated until they are solid.
Set the next lesson
The new lines for the next class are set from your weekly plan.
Move on when it is solid
The next lesson starts only when the current one is strong. After each juz, 1 or 2 days are kept only for revising it.

Questions
Hifz questions
How long does it take to memorise the whole Quran?
It depends on your daily lines and your days each week. For example, 10 lines a day, 5 days a week takes about 4 years, and 1 page (15 lines) a day on the same plan takes about 2 years 8 months. Try the Hifz calculator to see your own plan.
Can I do Hifz while studying or working?
Yes. Many students memorise with a small daily portion at a fixed time. Even 5 to 7 lines a day adds up over the years.
Which Mushaf do you use?
We use the Madinah Mushaf: 604 pages, 15 lines a page. Your weekly plan lists the pages from it.
Do I need to read fluently before Hifz?
Yes. Hifz is much easier when you already read the Quran fluently. In the free trial we listen to your reading and tell you whether to start with Nazra or Hifz.
Is the trial class free?
Yes. It is 30 minutes, one-to-one, and there is no obligation to join afterwards.
